OUR WINDOWS ARE SAFE,
WATERTIGHT AND LAST ALMOST FOREVER.
The secret of our windows is that they
are an integrated system of purpose built components.
Each part is carefully designed and manufactured from
materials which have been selected to give outstanding
performance, in the harshest conditions.
FRAMES are made from Marine Grade aluminium
for high strength and minimum weight. Over the years
we have developed over 50 dies. This means we now have
a range which covers the needs of our clients. Variables
to consider are duty, hull material and thickness, fixed
or sliding, area and location. The sections are carefully
worked to the required shape, using techniques which
avoid metal fatigue. Finished to high standards, frames
are ready for a lasting surface treatment.
SEALS contain natural rubber, neoprene, butyl,
silicones and Hybrid polymers for watertight seal.
GLASS OR PLASTIC glazing
panes are selected to suit the application and budget.
Most commercial craft requires glass. The choices in
glass are; laminated glass for moderate performance
and toughened glass for high performance. Plastic is
useful where scantlings are lighter. In plastic low
cost acrylic is available for low stress, lightweight
installations, with the much stronger polycarbonates
used in more critical areas.
FITTINGS are selected
hardware from the best international sources. Marine
and Mobile Windows only use proven components, which
are made from stainless steel and have mechanisms which
perform over a high number of cycles.
